
ISSHA ROSE MATA
Issha Rose Mata, a Hilo Native, is a Digital Marketing Manager & Creator dedicated to making a difference in her community. A graduate of Kamehameha Schools Hawaii and the University of Hawaii at Hilo with B.A.s in Biological Sciences and Performing Arts, Issha aims to advocate for mental health resources, secure funding for the arts in public schools, and inspire women to chase their dreams.

Having begun supporting herself at 16, she has lived in numerous homes. Her experiences fuel her mission to bridge generational gaps through Tutu Tutorials, an initiative connecting young mentors with Kūpuna seeking tech guidance.

An accomplished individual, Issha has placed in the Top 10 at two international pageants and earned recognition for her writing. Her first book, "To Read Between the Lines," will be published this fall. With aspirations to build a family, expand her career, and travel the world in the next five years, Issha’s narrative is one of strength, creativity, and hope. Through her involvement with the charity Our KÅ«puna and her enthusiasm for life’s opportunities, Issha Rose Mata stands as a beacon of inspiration, ready to leave a lasting mark on her community and beyond.
